Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

If you live in a single-family home, we recommend having your pool cleaned once a week to maintain optimal cleanliness and chemical balance. Commercial properties, apartments and HOA pools, are cleaned on a seasonal schedule of three cleans per week in the swim season and two times per week in the fall and winter.

Green water is usually caused by low chlorine levels, poor circulation, or unbalanced water chemistry. Hot weather, heavy rain, and frequent swimming can all contribute if the pool isn't properly maintained.

Most residential pools should run 8-12 hours per day, depending on the season, pool size, and pump type.

Cloudy water can result from poor filtration, debris, or imbalanced pH and alkalinity, even when chlorine levels appear normal.

Sand & DE filters: Backwash when pressure increases 8–10 PSI
Cartridge filters: Clean every 4–6 weeks, or as needed
Regular filter maintenance is key to clear water and proper circulation.

In most cases, swimming is safe 30–60 minutes after chemicals are added. However, heavy shocking or major chemical adjustments may require a longer wait time.

Some water loss is normal due to evaporation, especially in hot weather. Excessive water loss may indicate a leak in plumbing, equipment, or the pool structure and should be inspected promptly. We can perform a leak detection and let you know where the leak is and what needs to be done.
